2/19/2023 0 Comments Lenticular printing process![]() The technology to create a lenticular picture was available by the late 19th and early 20th century. As a result, the picture would appear to change as a person walked by, creating a primitive type of flip picture. They were made by dividing 2 images into strips and viewing them through a slotted barrier. The idea of an image that changes when viewed from different angles was known as “tabula scalata” or “turning pictures”. They could not make a lenticular picture as we know it today. ![]() The basics date back to the 16th century.
